NIOS, NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF OPEN SCHOOLING
The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) formerly known as National Open School (NOS) was established in November,1989 as an autonomous organization in pursuance of National Policy on Education 1986 by the Ministry of Human Resource Development(MHRD), Government of India. Children passed out from NIOS are eligible to join the P.U Colleges across the globe. For more info visit www.nios.ac.in.
There are many resource centres in Bangalore that offer coaching to students who take up the syllabus of National Institute of Open Schooling.

Results of AL BASHEER International School's first batch of Class 10 are announced. With the mercy of Allah sub'haanawatala and persistent efforts by our students and teachers, we have done very well for ourselves as the first batch.
With 36 student students appearing for the exams, we have achieved a 92% pass percentage with 15 distinctions and 14 first classes. Allahu Akbar!
Individual top scores include 99% in Data Entry, 95% in English, 95% in Home Science, 92% in Math and a 91% in Science.
The top five rankers are Sanobar Fathima- 89.25%, Mohammed Abdullah - 89%, Tanisha Ali Khan – 86.6%, A. Ume Hani – 85.8% and Muna Hassan Shameed – 85%.
It is fantastic that so many students have achieved such good results in our first crack at the board exams. This is a testimony to the excellent job being done by the teachers. As an Islamic school, an equally great achievement is the moral values these students are taking away with them. Values, if practiced and honed, will make them excellent ambassadors of Islam and humanity. The school will continue to raise the bar every year and inshaaAllah achieve greater success.
